Our children’s art classes run on a termly basis, providing children aged 5-8 with an introduction to the basics of drawing and painting.
Each week children will build on their skills learnt in previous weeks, developing their confidence and ability.
Taught by experienced, supportive, and friendly teacher Aynur Erdal, this class is the perfect opportunity to introduce your child to the world of art.

The class is suitable for beginners and is friendly and inclusive. Style is Hatha yoga with various influences – gentle, but still delivering strength and flexibility. Come and try a class to enhance your sense of wellbeing, release stress and tension and to experience deep relaxation. Mats provided, free parking (for now, but check signs!) no need to book – just turn up. The class is in the beautiful church – it’s set back a bit and has big blue doors. Join acclaimed jazz pianist and composer Andrea Vicari for an evening of inspired compositions featuring Mark Lockheart.
Andrea celebrates the release of her brand new album Lost in Dreams (Inequations label), her sixth under her own name, alongside music from her recent duo recording with renowned saxophonist Mark Lockheart.

What is to be Done?’ is a question Russians have asked themselves many times over the last two centuries. Sharing their ideas over a lifetime of reading and writing, author Lesley Chamberlain spotlights the difficulties and asks whether there’s an answer.
Lesley Chamberlain studied Russian and German in England and was a Reuters correspondent in Moscow 1978-79 before embarking on a freelance career. While reviewing for many national and international publications and writing and broadcasting on BBC radio she has published over twenty books. They reflect approaches to Russia by way of food, literature, travel, history, philosophy and fiction. Titles include The Food and Cooking of Russia, Motherland A Philosophical History of Russia and most recently a novel The Mozhaisk Road Russian Heart of Darkness.
