Returning to Jacksons Lane following sold out performances of their début show, young British circus stars Silver Lining premiere their brand new show Throwback.
Commissioned as part of Jacksons Lane’s 40th Anniversary celebrations,Throwback is a physical spectacular, showcasing all that is exciting about UK circus. With awe-inspiring aerial performance, innovative acrobatics and some of the world’s best juggling skills all injected with that special Silver Lining magic.
This action packed, fast-paced show has explosive circus performances, honest stories and a lot of fun. With new faces and new skills, Throwback takes the audience on an adventure about what we can remember and everything we forget.

A high impact show full of hope and sorrow, it’s Greek mythology but not as you know it as this tale of love, choice and empowerment gets a contemporary circus twist. Jacksons Lane pays its respects with a once-in-a-lifetime night of spectacular sound and vision that we think will blow your minds. Performers from across the globe come together to celebrate Ziggy, the Thin White Duke, and maybe even Jareth the Goblin King as they choose their favourite Bowie look and song for a night of spaceman-inspired circus that’s out of this world.

Friends of the Highgate Roman Kiln – Michael Hammerson and Nick Peacey – will tell you about its remarkable discovery in 1969 in Highgate Woods, how it was lifted out of the ground and divided for safekeeping at Bruce Castle Museum and the hut in Highgate Woods; and their mission to reunite it in its original location. Find out also how local people have tried to recreate the way it worked.
