Francesco Sica & Natalie Klouda – violin, Jürg Dähler – viola, Ashok Klouda – cello, Simon Callaghan – piano

A rare opportunity to experience this 1920’s classic silent comedy film with a live score, 100 years on from its original release.

Named by Time Magazine as one of the All-Time Greatest 100 Movies, Sherlock Junior (1924) stars Buster Keaton as a cinema projectionist who moonlights as an amateur detective. Keaton’s trademark physical comedy is soundtracked by a piano quintet score composed especially for the film, in 1920s style, by the LA-born composer and Tchaikovsky Competition prize-winning pianist Stephen Prutsman. A perfect Sunday activity for families on the hunt for something different this festive season.

The film lasts 45 minutes and is rated U.
