The Highgate Fair in the Square is a highlight in the Highgate Summer calendar
when friends and neighbours come together in the Village for a fun day out and
welcome visitors from further afield. The Fair promotes local societies, charitable
causes and businesses, provides a stage for talented local groups, children’s
activities and an exciting selection of stalls.
This event is free and takes place thanks to a team of volunteers. Without their help
in setting up the Fair, stewarding and clearing up afterwards, the whole occasion
could not take place. Several long serving members of the organizing committee are
standing down this year so we really need new faces to make next year’s Fair on
Saturday 11 June 2016 a success.
If you would like to help and become part of this amazing team we would like to hear
from you. If you want to find out how you can help and what is entailed, the team
invites you to an open evening from 7.30pm on Tuesday 1 December at The
Woodman, 414 Archway Rd, N6 5UA. If you can’t make this or would like further
details, please email: thefairinthesquare@gmail.com.
