All Dogs Matter invite you to celebrate the Year of the Dog at a special photography exhibition at Lauderdale House.

Year of the (rescue) Dog is a tribute to the fascinating life stories of the rescue dogs at All Dogs Matter, featuring a host of photos by different photographers – including Rankin. These photos show off how wonderful rescue dogs are and how rewarding it can be to adopt one, showcasing the rescue dogs and their owners, plus a few special supporters like Ricky Gervais, Michelle Collins, Peter Egan and Rachel Riley.

All Dogs Matter are a local dog rescue and rehoming charity based near East Finchley, who take in and rehome abandoned and unwanted dogs from all over London. They receive no government funding so all donations make a difference. Prints will be available to purchase at the exhibition to help All Dogs Matter raise more invaluable funds for their dogs in need.

Year of the (rescue) Dog will being with a Private View on 13 June, with the exhibition running 14 June to 6 July in Lauderdale House’s Courtyard Gallery Space. Entry is free but donations welcome!

A Solstice Experience @ Lauderdale House

Campfire Convention have teamed up with artist Nina Runa Essendrop and Psychotherapist Jonathan Goldsmith to celebrate the summer solstice in the beautiful grounds of Waterlow Park.

“A Solstice Experience” will be a physical, immersive and poetic interactive experience exploring the sensations we get from movements, touch and senses. It’s a chance to be in community with one another, celebrate and share knowledge, investigating what it is to experience life in a human body. Experience a moving, beautiful journey as the sun sets on the evening of the summer solstice.

A Solstice Experience will take place on 21 June, 6pm-10pm, outside Lauderdale House in Waterlow Park. Tickets start at £25. All profits from this event will be split between Campfire Convention, a platform for social change, and Lauderdale House.

Sundial Sundays: Jazz Connect @ Lauderdale House

Join us in pretty Waterlow Park for another free Sunday afternoon concert!

This week’s performance showcases a collection of jazz ensembles brought together by Camden Music Hub as part of their Art’s Council funded project “Jazz Connect”. The show will feature jazz ensembles from local schools, Camden music service and Camden music hub partners – all coming together to perform a programme of thrilling live music.

Relax on the grass with a hotdog and a cold drink while you enjoy family-friendly live music as part of our ongoing Sundial Sundays season.

The Jazz Connect performance will take place between 2.30 and 4.30pm on 1 July. All sessions are free to attend and open to everyone.

The Poetry of Earth is Never Dead – Yvonne Saville @ Lauderdale House

Yvonne Saville has been painting for over 25 years and her work, now mainly in acrylics, has been exhibited widely in North London. She is inspired by the natural world, its beauty, its randomness, its continual change and transformation.

“I want to celebrate what I know, that essence of nature. My pictures are not about what I see, but what I feel. My tools are paint, fingers, brushes, sand for texture, oil for movement, wood for incising – but mainly the heart.”

Yvonne Saville’s exhibition The Poetry of Earth is Never Dead runs in Lauderdale House’s Upper Gallery 13 June – 9 July. Entry free of charge.

Year of the (Rescue) Dog @ Lauderdale House

All Dogs Matter invite you to celebrate the Year of the Dog at a special photography exhibition at Lauderdale House.

Year of the (rescue) Dog is a tribute to the fascinating life stories of the rescue dogs at All Dogs Matter, featuring a host of photos by different photographers – including Rankin. These photos show off how wonderful rescue dogs are and how rewarding it can be to adopt one, showcasing the rescue dogs and their owners, plus a few special supporters like Ricky Gervais, Michelle Collins, Peter Egan and Rachel Riley.

All Dogs Matter are a local dog rescue and rehoming charity based near East Finchley, who take in and rehome abandoned and unwanted dogs from all over London. They receive no government funding so all donations make a difference. Prints will be available to purchase at the exhibition to help All Dogs Matter raise more invaluable funds for their dogs in need.

Year of the (rescue) Dog will being with a Private View on 13 June, with the exhibition running 14 June to 6 July in Lauderdale House’s Courtyard Gallery Space. Entry is free but donations welcome!
