Despite appearing on radio (Five Live, Radio 4, XFM, BBC 3 Counties) and TV (The 11 O’Clock Show, This Morning, Big Brothers Bit On The Side) for over fifteen years, this is Iain’s first solo show. Should be a right old laugh.
Myths remixed: the classic story of Persephone is retold with live music, aerial acrobatics, fire, dance and mime. A high impact show full of hope and sorrow, it’s Greek mythology but not as you know it as this tale of love, choice and empowerment gets a contemporary circus twist. Kate Shortt, cellist, singer songwriter, cabaret artists and comedienne is known for her avant garde improvisations and off the wall humour.
