As part of an going series I am hosting for 2015 celebrating Irish culture, history, politics and literature, I will be interviewing Jesse Norman about the life of Edmund Burke, in the Boogaloo Pub, Highgate.
Jacksons Lane summons you to a ghoulish feast of blood-curdling burlesque, macabre music, spectral circus and eerie illusion with some horrifically talented artists in this frighteningly fantastic night.
Overseen by the dark lord of comedy magic Christian Lee, expect vampires on ropes, tantalising terrors of tease, ghouls on your lap and gothic glamour all around, including the queen of erotic neo-burlesque, the sensational MisSa Blue.
The ticket includes a chiller cocktail on arrival, with a late bar and special medicinal concoctions to get your fangs into. Book early!
We encourage attendees to dress to distress.
18+ adult content and nudity
Every year we run a fabulous family-friendly performance trail through the House and gardens where you’ll encounter all kinds of spooky characters – ghosts and gouls, witches and werewolves, skeletons and sprites as well as pumpkin fairies, soothsayers and black cats to name but a few! Its a great alternative to trick-or-treating for all the family.
Book now – this event always sells out!

The original hippy musical HAIR made its debut on the London stage in Autumn 1968.
Fifty years on, some of the original cast members get back together to talk about their experience of being in the very first rock musical.
Paul Nicholas, Annabel Leventon and Peter Straker have all gone on to be major stars in British theatre.
We are hoping that other cast members from HAIR will join Paul, Annabel and Peter. Come and listen to them talk about that wonderful period of love and peace. Help us recreate the Age of Aquarius and Let The Sunshine In!
There will also be a few old film clips to remind everyone what a hippy happy time we enjoyed in the Swinging Sixties.
Hosted by John Plews
