Various speakers will give an overview of developments in the park including the recent planting of an orchard and an update on consultation over future management plans which include the proposal of a new Community Management group.

Highgate Neighbourhood Forum’s Annual General Meeting.
The Friends of Waterlow Park are holding their annual meeting in the Park Centre on Wednesday 10 June from 7 – 9, with refreshments available from 6.45. The speaker will be Shaun Kiddell, formerly Head of Parks for Camden and now Parks Policy Adviser for the Heritage Lottery Fund. He will talk about the role of the HLF in saving Britain’s parks. The talk will be followed by a short AGM and elections to the FOWP committee.

7PM Talk by John Caird ” My Life in Highgate” Guest Speaker John Caird is an Honorary Associate Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, a regular director with the Royal National Theatre and Highgate resident of over 20 years.

Tony Leach, Director of Parks for London, will be talking about ‘Parks in London: ‘The Current Dilemma’ at 7 p.m. in the Park Centre. Join the Friends of Waterlow Park at 6.45 for refreshments. The talk will be followed at 8 p.m. by the AGM. This will include a report on recent developments and elections to the committee.
