A concert, by members, that includes new talent alongside regulars such as the Concordia Guitar Duo and Oswaldo Santos – who will be playing more of his own compositions. Other music by Bach, Barrios, Brouwer, Lauro, Mertz and Tedesco.

Les Femmes Circus are an all-female circus troupe who combine circus with theatre, dance, singing and percussion to create work that is exciting, moving and breathtaking.
The company are all graduates of the National Centre for Circus Arts and use a range of circus disciplines in their work including aerial, acrobatics, hula hoop and juggling.
With an aesthetic based in the 1950s, Les Femmes Circus use comedy and manipulation to create a world where circus is the norm, playing with fear, love and fantasy, and revealing how fun it can be to misbehave.
Fierce and full of power, the company want to connect with their audiences – and to do so not only by performing tricks, but by telling a story, revealing their feelings, and allowing the audience to fully experience the performance, both visually and emotionally.

Innovative Latin American harpist, composer and poet, Ricardo Curbelo, combines traditional music from a variety of Latin American countries, together with his own, spellbinding compositions. Vibrant, energetic and jazzy pieces contrast with more classical, enchanting melodies and tender vocals. He is delighted to share this concert with wonderful classical guitarist, Fiona Harrison, who will also present a fascinating and varied programme of music, crossing cultures and centuries from Renaissance England through to contemporary Japan.

You could use it to make a record of your New Years Resolutions, shopping list, doodles or musings on life etc. This ancient technique is easy to learn and makes a sturdy notebook using just basic tools and no machinery. Please note some tools are sharp so do ask for assistance if necessary.
