Warren Mailley- Smith will perform a selection of Chopin favourites from his recent highly acclaimed series at St John Smith Sq.

As part of Jacksons Lane’s LAUNCH programme to give more professional theatre opportunities to young people, it presents Extremism, part of the National Theatre’s festival of plays for young people, Connections. Extremism, by Anders Lustgarten, watches a class react when a student is taken out of the room by his teacher – and the police. A microcosm of our battle between tolerance and fear in a multi-faith society.

A long time favourite and one of the most popular side men in London, Leon makes a long overdue return with his superlative trio of Brown, the best straight-ahead swing drummer in the country and King, winner of a Worshipful Company of Musicians Best Young Musician Award.

For those who love their piano playing to be soaked in the bop, blues and gospel flavours of giants lke Wynton Kelly, Bobby Timmons and Horace Silver, Leon is THE man.  No-one builds a solo with ever mounting excitetment like he does. Well, not in the UK anyway!
