HENRY TOZER “Behind the Words”

Henry will take you on a unique exploration through the meanings and depths of Leonard Cohen’s songs, intertwined with his own songs and Chopin-inspired piano improvisations. Accompanying himself solo at the piano, the evening gives a chance to hear Henry’s own unique arrangements and interpretations of this music, paired with his inimitable bass-baritone voice.
Drawing on his own personal journey with Leonard Cohen’s music, Henry will share his own understandings – many inspired by shared spiritual insights – of Cohen’s songs. This is the first show of its kind, and a special opportunity to dive deep into the world revealed through the art of Leonard Cohen, transmuted through the heart of Henry Tozer.
