Winner of the 1988 Pullitzer Prize and long running off-Broadway play, Driving Miss Daisy is a warm-hearted and affecting study of the relationship between an aging Southern white lady and her proud chauffeur – a funny and moving portrayal of people learning to look beneath the surface and find the humanity beneath the skin. It was made into an Academy Award winning film starring Jessica Tandy and Morgan Freeman.
