A new weekly Sunday farmers market for the community.
We’re delighted to be hosted by St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.
St Joseph’s are especially delighted to celebrate the opening of the Market with the School’s 10th anniversary in September of the ‘St Joseph’s Children’s Garden’ project, enabling children in the Community to sell their garden produce and share their growing expertise.
Produce will include; Freshly pressed juice, soft fruit and top fruit in season, vegetables and salads. Organic & free range meat, raw milk, cheese, plants & flowers, handmade preserves, herbs, pies, cakes and bread, wet fish and shellfish, free range eggs.
Something for everyone.
All farms are based within 100 miles of London and everyone is visited before they sell with us. Secondary producers such as jam makers have to use a minimum of 50% local ingredients and we ask bakers to use seasonal ingredients and free range/organic eggs. We’ll do our best to include locally based producers, anyone interested should get in touch with us as soon as possible.

Sensei Corky Quakenbush (Los Angeles) is back in London to present his unique Aiki-Lab method – at the Highgate Civic and Cultural Centre.
Complete beginners are especially welcome! No Aikido technique, throw, fall or force is strictly necessary!
Corky is the mastermind of the ground-breaking approach to Takemusu Aikido known as AikiLab – a YouTube sensation. Whereas most forms of Aikido are taught through the repetitive emulation of katas or techniques, his approach does not rely on such stereotypes. Instead, the main focus of Aiki-Lab is on the flow of energy arising from the intentions of those involved in a confrontation…
Corky’s re-invention of the Art – the result of more than thirty years of practice and research – his unique gift for teaching, allied to a friendly and open personality, has led to a growing demand for his teaching world-wide.
In this hands-on presentation, you will understand how certain intentional moves which channel beneficent intention towards an opponent, often lead to a safe and harmonious resolution of an attack.

Join local artist, Jo Pearl, ceramic sculptor and animation filmmaker, for a playful workshop that breathes clay into life while exploring OmVed Gardens’ flora and micro fauna. Inspired by her body of work ‘Unearthed’ on view at the Alchemy exhibition, ceramic artist and animation filmmaker Jo Pearl will host a playful workshop inviting participants to sculpt the fascinating microbes and mini critters that live beneath healthy soil and bring them to life using simple stop motion. This workshop is suitable for any age from 8 to 108. Participants must have a smart phone with the iMotion app (free to download) and be able to use it unsupervised. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. “Breathing life into clay and clay into life – has become my definition of animation. I have become fascinated with the soil that is at the root of the ceramic discipline, enchanted by the truly overwhelming richness of life beneath our feet. I celebrate that abundance here with ‘Unearthed’, a project that zooms us down and focuses in on the choreography of ever-more tiny beings that inhabit the soil, a largely unknown place that holds one of the keys to life on earth.” – Jo Pearl |
